Cards and decks - Chart Arena

Once you have a deck, you bring power-up cards into your fights, including In-Game Cards PvP matches.

In a match

Your deck starts with three slots, and all six open after Star Gym. With a full deck you hold four active cards and two in reserve.
Playing a card costs energy, which recharges during the match.
Drag a card onto TO YOU or TO OPPONENT. On the web you can also press 1 to 4.
When you play a card, a reserve card takes its place.

The cards

Card	What it does
Leverage	Your next close deals, or takes, extra damage.
Margin Call	Reveals your opponent’s active hand for a few seconds.
Shill	Your winning closes hit harder for a few seconds.
Diamond Hands	Caps the next big incoming hit within a short window.
Rug Pull	Steals health from your opponent and heals you by the same amount.
HODL	Hold a position long enough and you restore health.
Hack	Deals direct damage to your opponent.
Airdrop	Restores some of your health.
Borrow	Costs you a little health now; if your next close wins, it hits much harder.

Each card shows its exact effect in the game.

Building your deck

Beat Recon on the solo road to claim the free Genesis Deck.
After Star Gym, the Store’s Booster Pack adds Hack, Airdrop and Borrow.
Levelling a card up costs gold and needs a minimum player level.

Beating Bun earns Encore, a trophy card that stays in your collection. It can’t go in a deck.
