# Gems and gold

> Chart Arena's two in-game currencies.

## Gold

You earn gold from wins, and on iOS from level chests. Spend it to level up your [cards](/play/cards).

## Gems

You earn gems by playing: ranked wins, badges, tournament rewards and invites, and on iOS from level chests. Spend them in the **Store**, for example on skins.

## Invites

On the web, the **Invite** page (in the sidebar, or under Profile on phones) tracks friends you bring to Chart Arena. Invites can earn gems, and the page shows the current requirements.
