# Accounts, keys and funding

## Your wallet

When you sign in, Privy creates a wallet for you. Chart Arena has no custody or control of that wallet or its keys.

## Connecting to Perpl

Setting up takes two steps with your wallet:

1. **Sign in to Perpl.** Signing Perpl's sign-in message also accepts Perpl's Terms of Use.
2. **Enable trading.** You sign a message that registers a trading key for your Perpl account, and your wallet signs an on-chain Perpl transaction ("order forwarding") that lets orders sent with that key reach your account.

## The trade-only key

We generate the trading key and store it encrypted on our servers. It has trade permission only: it can place, change, and cancel orders in your Perpl account. Under Perpl's rules it cannot withdraw or transfer your funds. Deposits, withdrawals, and transfers always require a signature from your own wallet.

We use the key only as section 19.5 of the Terms describes: for example, when you use an order control, and to place or trigger protective orders you set, even while you're offline. We may first cancel an order resting in that market, and we may decline or limit orders to apply in-game limits.

You can revoke the key at any time on Perpl, or turn off order forwarding from your own wallet. Revoking it stops our servers from placing or backstopping your protective orders.

## Funding and withdrawals

* Send AUSD on Monad to your wallet address, then choose how much to deposit into Perpl for trading.
* Solo uses your main wallet. Advanced gets its own wallet.
* Withdrawals always need your own wallet's signature.
