# Crypto Mode

> An early-access mode for trading real perpetual futures on Perpl. Leveraged: you can lose all the funds you commit. Not available to U.S. Persons or Restricted Persons.

In the core game, positions are simulated and nothing real is traded. Crypto Mode is a separate, early-access part of Chart Arena where eligible players trade real perpetual futures ("perps") with their own funds on Perpl, an independent third-party protocol on the Monad blockchain.

## Who does what

* **Perpl** offers, matches, executes and settles every trade. It sets its own prices, funding, liquidations and rules.
* **Chart Arena** is software that submits orders to Perpl for your account on your instructions, using a trade-only key you authorize and we hold. It isn't an exchange or custodian, and it isn't registered with any financial regulator.
* **Your funds** stay in your own wallet and your own Perpl account. Chart Arena doesn't hold them and can't withdraw or transfer them.
* **Collateral** is AUSD, a stablecoin issued by a third party.
* **BlockLive and its people** may trade on Perpl for their own accounts, and those orders can be matched with yours.

## Who can use it

Crypto Mode is not available to U.S. Persons or Restricted Persons, and you can't use it from a restricted jurisdiction. As of the current Terms, restricted jurisdictions include the United States, the United Kingdom, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria and Ukraine. They also include other sanctioned places, and anywhere Perpl restricts access or perps are prohibited.

Restricted Persons also include citizens of Cuba, Iran, North Korea and other comprehensively sanctioned places wherever they live, anyone on a sanctions list, and anyone Perpl's terms make ineligible. You can't use Crypto Mode on behalf of anyone who is. We may restrict more places or people at any time.

## Early access

Admission is by invitation or other criteria we set, and it is personal to you. Features may change, be limited or be withdrawn at any time. Crypto Mode runs on the web version of Chart Arena.

## Before your first trade

Crypto Mode asks you to confirm, among other things, that:

* you are not a U.S. Person and not in a restricted country;
* you are not using a VPN or proxy to hide where you are;
* you understand that perps are leveraged and you can lose everything you put in;
* you know Chart Arena places your orders on Perpl with a trade-only key that can't withdraw your funds.

You also accept the Terms, the Privacy Policy and Perpl's Terms of Use. We record that acceptance, and we may ask again when the Terms change.

These confirmations apply every time you use Crypto Mode. If one stops being true, stop opening or increasing positions and email [support@blocklive.io](mailto:support@blocklive.io). We may limit you to closing positions, or suspend your access.
